COMPRESStoy is made by komocode. Your photos and videos are compressed on your device.
What the app collects
COMPRESStoy does not collect personal data and does not include advertising, analytics, tracking, accounts, or third-party data-collection SDKs. We do not receive your photos, videos, filenames, or embedded location information. The app does not identify faces or collect biometric information.
Photos, files, and permissions
You choose the photos, videos, or files to import. Apple's photo picker may download items from iCloud through Apple's services. Photo Library permission is requested when you choose to save results to Photos or enable autosave. File access and the share extension are used only for the items you select. You can change permissions in your device settings.
Local storage and metadata
The app stores preferences locally. Imported media and compressed results are held in temporary app storage; files left from earlier sessions are removed on a later launch. The iPhone and iPad share extension temporarily stores selected files in a shared app container until the app imports them. Media can contain location and camera metadata; use Remove Metadata in Settings to remove embedded information from supported output. Save or share the results you want to keep.
Services you choose
Copies that you save to Photos or Files, device backups, iCloud, and destinations you share to are governed by the services you use. App Store downloads and purchases are handled by Apple. Apple may make aggregate sales information or diagnostics available to developers according to your settings and Apple's policies.
This website
This website does not add analytics, advertising tags, tracking cookies, or fingerprinting. Its fonts and assets are served locally. Cloudflare delivers and protects the website and may process technical request information, including IP addresses, under its privacy policy.
Contact and your information
If you contact komocode, we use the information you provide to respond and resolve your request and keep it only as needed for that purpose. You can ask us to access, correct, or delete information you have provided. We do not sell personal information or knowingly collect personal information from children. Avoid sending sensitive media in support requests.
